Does anybody know anything about Livorno in Italy?

I am visiting Livorno in Italy. Does anybody know any good places to visit there?
All I know so far, is that it is a region in Tuscany. I would particularly like information about any historical sites there and nice beautiful places there in general.
I am into sky sports like parachuting and we want to avoid water activities if possible.

I went just last year, it was great.Nowadays the Venice district preserves most of its original town planning and architectural features such as the bridges, the narrow lanes, the noblemen’s houses and a dense network of canals which once linked the port to its storehouses.You probably think im silly but going for a stroll to their market is just amazing,,,its so much different to Britain. You could also maybe go up in the hills to the Sanctuary of Montenero, which is dedicated to ‘Our Lady of the Graces’, the patron saint of Tuscany, it’s a fixed destination for pilgrims. It is famous for the adjacent gallery, decorated with ex-voti mainly connected to stories of miraculous sea rescue.I went, and it’s ”okay”. Not the greatest though! And finally, you must definately check out the Palaces next to the Fosso Reale. Absolutley great.
