Ideas for a great European Holiday?

Can anyone recommend any Holiday destinations with the following features:
-lovely beaches – good for snorkling but not any water sports stuff
-hot weather
-not aimed at kids (I hate the kids clubs!!!) but yet not adults only
-not lively/ nightlife resorts aimed at hen nights etc
-not to touristy (e.g. not benidorm lol)
-close to beach (as will not be hiring a car)
-bus stops nearby

Hi, how about Egypt? It’s hot, the beaches are gorgeous and the sea is amazing for snorkelling and diving. In terms of the avoiding kids, being close to the beach and having good transport links, it depends on which resort you choose to stay at.
