What do you think about this Titanic ship – Greek Titans connection?

The Titanic was named because it was huge. Right? It was named for its hugeness after the Greek Titans, who were huge. Like, uberhuge. They were practically titanic in size. Ha ha. How come nobody remembered that the Titans were defeated? Kronos, especially, was chopped into a thousand pieces (the Titanic broke up underwater) and dropped into Tartarus (the Titanic sank). Was this fate/destiny/bad luck, or just humans being idiots again?

You might have something here. The New York Titans became the Jets. Talk about disasters and bad luck.
