Dive Training in San Diego?

I wish to be a diver in the Olympics in either 2012 or 2016. I just don’t know where to start. I have no expereience actually. I’m not having much luck finding a training place or classes in San Diego becuase Scuba diving keeps coming up. Can you please help me? Thanks!

Calling all local rec centres (pools) and asking them whether they provide diving lessons would be easiest. If you are too shy, then individual cities/townships often have booklets called “leisure programmes” available throughout the city, & sometimes a leisure/recreation website where you can research it online. If you want to find out how to get to this website, you might need to talk to a city clerk. Look in the government services section of your phone book (usually blue pages) until you find the clerk’s number. Call them and ask if there is a website for (INSERT CITY) recreation programs, and where you can find it. Hope I helped!
