I have to build a mini motor boat for physics class?

we’re going to race the boats
it needs to have a propeller powered by a battery motor and I don’t really know where to start
also, i lose points if the propeller is not home made

I would make the propeller out of the metal side of a coffee can. You need to make sure that the blades on the propeller are bent at an angle.
