I can’t remember the name of a game from 7-10 years ago, I think it was Nintendo or Playstation platform?

It was a adventure-role playing animation that looked like Zelda. I remember a dream sequence early in the game with a boat flying the sky, and this little festival that the village people had where they ran a race around a track. I think it was animals that ran. I can’t remember the name of it. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

The dream sequence and festival with people racing around a track (I believe a green monster and a cat were racing as well) in the beginning makes it sound like you’re thinking of Chrono Trigger. I don’t remember anything about a boat flying the sky though…
