Well my boyfriend works at sports authority and some customer gave him shit about not knowing how to do a “fresh water knot ” and my boyfriend says it doesnt exist and the guy kept on ranting about well, to make us feel better and to just laugh at it, is there such thing as a fresh water knot?

There are hundreds of knots. And on top of that, there are alot of nick names for the knots.

I just did a search on yahoo and nothing came up for a freshwater knot. More than likely its a nick name for any of the common knots.
