Any tips to maximize my website’s holding page?

My company needs a holding page for roughly two months. Rather than just having a page with our logo, launch date and some company info, I would like to transform the holding page into a marketing opportunity. Has anyone seen anything interesting out there?

Our company sells life-experiences: it enables its customers to fulfill their dreams for a minimal price. Whether it is piloting a plane, being a rally pilot for a day, ship wreck diving or wanting to orbit in Earth’s stratosphere. The company has been going for 13 years, but after a recent take-over, we are revamping our protocols and technology in order to expand our portfolio and lower our prices…

Contact a professional.. Be willing to pay the buck.. sounds like your company doesn’t need free advice from a Q & A on yahoo. Plus, why would you trust such an information sorce when you don’t really know the capabilities behind the “words” you will be reading?

You can maximize it by adding buttons that take the person to other pages/sites which could explain or show what you are trying to do?
