Showdown at House of Blue Leaves (The Bride vs. an army of bodyguards), “Kill Bill” Volume 1
Jane and John Smith shoot at and fight each other in their house, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”
Bond chases a bomb-maker in Madagascar and ends up destroying an embassy, “Casino Royale”
Theo and Kee race through a wartorn city to find a boat (one-shot), “Children of Men”
Batpod chase/semi-trailer truck flip, “The Dark Knight”
I’m torn between three movies again: Helm’s Deep, The Asian club in Kill Bill, and the race toward the boat in Children of Men.
I love all three for different reasons, and as visually stunning as CoM is, I’ll go with Kill Bill, I suppose… Because she claims limbs.
But one of my favorite characters died at Helms Deep, so I’m torn, again.
