Skipper Steve White, winner of the 2005 single handed transatlantic OSTAR race in the monohull race, ranked 7th single handed solo sailor in the world is in serious need of commercial sponsorship for the Artemis Transat in MAY and the Vendee Globe 2008 (November) after ten years he has gone from nothing to this point where he owns an OPEN 60 ( like Dame Ellen Macarthur’s B&Q boat ) but Steve is about to lose it all after having remortgaged his home and worked himself beyond his own strength. Keep on knocking on the big corporations doors – one will open. Try those companies that are making loads of money right now and maybe want to improve their public profile a bit. The oil companies look like good candidates to me.
