why does it seem like every action, no matter if it necessarily good o bad, have a consequence or a down side?
the only thing i can think of that one can do with no consequences or down side is to drink water or milk.
it seems like everything we eat or drink either has too much sugar, bad food coloring, or something in it that is bad for us.
play sports, your body wears down. you run and your knees go bad.
it just seems to me that everything has a bad side to it, maybe im just a pessimist, but if you could help me out thatd be great. thanks
The thing to do is to make a decision based on the pros and cons of each choice. If you are looking at a choice in diet and exercise, the main thing to remember is that you need your carbohydrates if you are going to have an active exercise regimen. The carbs will help you maintain energy throughout the day. Sugars are good for this. Also, if you are looking to burn more fat, you would consume less starches and sugars so your body is forced to get it’s energy supply from the reserves (or your fat deposits). You cannot completely eliminate all bad items from your diet or your fitness program, so you have to take precautions. If you want to start running, be sure to stretch well before each run to minimize the risk of pulled or torn muscles and ligaments. You can also go to the local school track to run instead of using the sidewalks. The track is made of materials designed to minimize shock on your body from the impact of your feet hitting the ground hard and fast.
In short… Educate yourself on each choice before deciding what to eat and which fitness program you want to use. If you are still not confident in your decision, consult a dietitian and hire a trainer or go to the gym where they have trained staff to help you make the right decisions and will teach you how to properly perform the exercises and care for your body.
